Service descriptions
Service descriptions and pricing on this site reflect our standard offerings at the time they were published. Specific matters may require variations in scope or price, in which case we will communicate the difference before doing the work.
Payment
Standard service tiers are payable at the time of booking through Square. Pass-through statutory fees (such as the New York Secretary of State fee) are included where noted. Rush, Hague, and other quoted services are payable on quote acceptance.
Refunds
If we cannot perform a service because of factors entirely on our side, we will refund the service fee. Where a service is attempted in good faith but a defendant cannot be located, evades service, or refuses to accept, our fee covers our effort and documentation and is not refundable. We will always discuss the situation with you.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, complete documents, and lawful instructions. You represent that you have a legitimate legal purpose for any service or search you request.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the amount paid to us for that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts seated in Suffolk County, New York.
